We are deeply thankful for the care and support that the entire team provided for our Mother during some challenging times as her physical and mental condition declined. Our family is also grateful for the support you gave especially to me. I found the front office to be very responsive, answering questions with compassion and understanding, especially on the few times I needed to reach out after hours. The after hours RN that came in to evaluate my Mom was thorough, caring and developed a plan of care that was carried out. I apologize that I did not write down her name. Together with RN Sue we were able to adjust our Mom’s plan of care as her condition changed. I appreciated her supporting the plan of care and communicating changes in the care and/or medications. Due to so many staffing changes, agency staff etc. I was grateful for the consistency of Sue and Isabel, my Mom’s CNA. Sue and Isabel worked to help my Mom be the best that she could be and be comfortable and happy in these last few months of her life. They understood her need to be with people and worked hard to get her looking nice and with her new “friends.” My Mom also benefited tremendously from the pastoral care services. Chaplain Esi was exceptional in meeting my Mom’s spiritual needs through prayer, music and just being with my Mom. In fact, the one day I was present I was so moved with the Scripture she shared from Isaiah 41 and the prayer that we used that experience as one of the Bible verses in her Celebration of Life Service. We both benefited from the support of Veronica SW. She would visit my Mom which she enjoyed each visit and I appreciated the check ins as we journeyed through her declining health changes and entering the end of life. Though my Mom didn’t have too many massages, Rachel’s presence and gentle manner brought her much comfort. Massage therapy can definitely be a beneficial support. With our deepest gratitude to the entire team during these difficult times.
